TALK es el proyecto del cantautor canadiense Nicholas Durocher, nacido en Stittsville, Ontario. Adoptó ese nombre artístico inspirándose en la canción "Talk" de Coldplay, como declaración de principios: ser auténtico y no importarle lo que piensen los demás.
Su historia tiene mucho de cuento de hadas moderno. Durante el confinamiento por la pandemia, sin trabajo y de vuelta en el sótano de sus padres, escribió de noche "Run Away to Mars" mientras veía la película "Interstellar". La canción tardó en despegar, pero cuando en 2022 se hizo viral en TikTok superó los 200 millones de reproducciones y llegó al número uno del Billboard Adult Alternative.
"A Little Bit Happy" llegó en junio de 2023 y forma parte de su álbum debut "Lord of the Flies & Birds & Bees". Es una canción sobre la autoestima y el amor como espejo: la idea de que a veces solo podemos vernos bien a través de los ojos de alguien que nos quiere. La coprodujo junto a Justin Tranter, uno de los letristas más prolíficos del pop actual (ha escrito para Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez o Imagine Dragons).
