Diablo Blvd nació en 2005 en Amberes (Bélgica), fundada por el guitarrista Dave Hubrechts y por Alex Agnew, conocido humorista de stand-up y el primer belga en ganar el prestigioso Festival de Cabaret de Leiden (Países Bajos) en 2003. Sí, el cantante de una banda de metal era la mayor estrella de la comedia del Benelux.
El nombre del grupo viene de una canción de Corrosion of Conformity.
Sing From The Gallows es uno de los dos singles adelanto de su cuarto y último álbum, Zero Hour (2017, Nuclear Blast). Ese disco fue su declaración política más contundente, inspirada en el clima de división global del momento. Guerra fría emocional, muros que vuelven a levantarse, políticos con la marca de Caín... el tema suena tan vigente hoy como entonces.
El videoclip forma parte de un concepto visual junto al otro single, Animal: en ambos aparece Alex Agnew caracterizado como una especie de presidente o canciller.
La banda se disolvió en 2018 tras 13 años de carrera. Un último concierto en el AB de Bruselas y telón.
